Refund Policy

1. Overview

Koutei PDF is a digital software service. Because access to paid plans, credits, and generated outputs is provisioned electronically, purchases are generally non-refundable once the service has been delivered or credits have been made available for use.

2. Subscription Charges

Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period and does not renew afterward.

We do not provide prorated refunds for partially used billing periods unless required by applicable law.

3. Credits and Digital Usage

Credits granted under a paid plan are intended for use during that billing cycle. Once credits have been allocated to your account and the service is available for use, charges are generally final and non-refundable.

4. When We May Consider a Refund

We may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis where there is a clear technical or billing problem, including:

  • duplicate or accidental charges
  • a confirmed platform-side failure that prevents successful document generation after payment
  • an incorrect charge caused by a billing-system error on our side

If you believe one of these situations applies, contact us within 7 days of the charge with the email address used for your account and any relevant billing reference.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not available for:

  • unused time remaining in an active billing period after cancellation
  • unused credits or credits not consumed before a billing period ends
  • change of mind after successful access to the paid service has been provided
  • account restrictions caused by violations of our Terms of Service

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us before initiating a chargeback where possible. Filing an unjustified chargeback may result in account suspension while the payment dispute is reviewed.

7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
